Join the Society on Sunday, September 22 for our next monthly meeting when we will discuss a selection of writings from Father Vincent McNabb, O.P., the great Distributist writer and friend of Chesterton and Belloc. Of McNabb, Monsignor Ronald Knox (another great priest writer contemporary with Chesterton) once wrote, "Father Vincent is the only person I have ever known about whom I have felt, and said more than once, ‘He gives you some idea of what a saint must be like.’ There was a kind of light about his presence which didn't seem to be quite of this world." For our reading selection for this meeting, we will be using a custom reading packet. We are not posting this packet online, however. The only way to get the reading packet is to RSVP for this meeting! (See the bottom of this post to RSVP.) Even if you RSVP that you cannot attend, you can select an option to have the reading packet sent to you. But we are keeping it under this process in order to protect any potential violations of copyright and the like which may arise from posting it online.
