Join the Society for our next monthly meeting where we discuss The Ballad of the White Horse, Chesterton's wonderful poem about a 9th century historical battle and the larger cosmic battle it represented. You can find the poem online, but you may want to purchase a nice annotated edition from the American Chesterton Society. The Society also sells a digital download audio recording of the poem as read by the eminent Chesterton, Mr. Aidan Mackey. A final option is this other audio recording which you can get for free, recommended by our very own Mike K., a reading by Malcom Guite. In any case, you have plenty of options to get ready for the meeting which is right around the corner! We also want to let our members know ahead of time about our reading for the April meeting, which will be on Palm Sunday (April 14). We will be reading a new offering from ACS Books: My Name is Lazarus: 34 Stories of Converts Whose Path to Rome was Paved by G.K. Chesterton. The book is edited by and contains an introduction from Dale Ahlquist, and includes many fascinating conversion stories that will make for wonderful Lenten meditation material! Purchase your copy today so that you can read it in time for April! Continue below to the form to RSVP for the March 10 meeting.
