The Society will meetin April on Sunday, April 19 at 6 PM at Ivy Hall to discuss three brief pieces by Chesterton, two essays and a poem. The pieces have to do with war, but this will not be a discussion of the present war, nor for the exchanging of opinons about current events. Rather, it is intented to be a look into Chesterton's mind as he lived through turbulent times and see whether he has any insights or thoughts that can help us in forming our own sentiments and opinions. [NOTE: At last meeting, we discussed reading ACS Books' new edition of What I Saw in America and discussing this at several upcoming meetings in honor of the country's semiquincentennial. We will still be doing this, beginning in May - a reading schedule will be available at this meeting in April, along with copies of the book for purchase for anyone interested!] The pieces we will discuss this month are as follows.
